Lawyer’s Fees
Fees for initial consultations are based on the lawyer’s hourly rate. Hourly rates are determined based on years of valuable experience. For more information on hourly rates, feel free to contact us.

Retainer deposit
Depending on the nature and complexity of your case, retainer deposits range from $1,000 to $5,000.
What is a retainer deposit?
With the exception of legal aid, we require payment of fees in advance to open up new files. This is called a retainer. The amount of your retainer deposit will depend on the nature and complexity of the file and the work you ask us to do. Once work has been performed on your file and you are provided with an invoice, the fees from the invoice will be paid from the retainer. Once the retainer is low or runs out, we will ask you to make another deposit so that we can continue to work on your file.
